I thought I’d play around with some real world data here so I downloaded a major air routes and airports dataset from OpenFlight and crammed it all into Houdini.

Starting at Cassidy Airport on the Kiribati Islands which are about as middle of the Pacific as one can get, we can get half way around the wold within one or two hops.

It’s a small world.

Hot off the back of our music video for Chet Faker we got this commission from veteran French artist Charlelie Couture. He really liked the Chet video and his only direction was really that he wanted something similar to the ice.

I wrote this piece and Toby and I enlisted our friend Ben Lucas to help us with the process.

Back in 2017 we designed this minimalist set of visuals for Aussie legends Rufus Du Sol. Simple shapes and motion take on a whole new quality when magnified to the size of a stage wall. This was an exercise in restraint, treating the LED wall as a light source more than content delivery.

From vehicle design to the entire city layout - I got to shape this cyberpunk film and watch the VFX masters of Alt VFX put it all together.

Launching another installment of animation for @Goodman_Group. In collaboration again with Yonder Creative, who worked to create the “CHANGE FOR THE FUTURE” theme for Goodman’s latest Sustainability Report, here we see solar panels, electric cars, water towers and oh so many trees. This formed part of Goodman’s annual reporting suite that included “WIRED FOR CHANGE” as the theme for their 2021 Annual Report and Stakeholder Review.

Klarna is coming to Australia with deals that are too hot to show. The team at Thinkerbell came up with an idea that would have audiences scanning a QR code on their screens to reveal the K-Rated deal.

I assembled a team to build these ‘very Klarna’ apartments for the products to live in. I wanted the audiences to try to imagine what kind of character would occupy this space. …someone pretty cool no doubt :)

A textural exploration designed to evoke tactile sensations. This animation was the launch video for the special edition OnePlus Nord: Grey Ash finish - a finely etched glass option for the hugely popular OnePlus Nord.

This project came to me via the good folks at Heckler.tv at the request of Steve Marolho.

Huge thanks to Adrien Girault who’s attention to detail as lead designer was only matched by his C4D skills creating the lion’s share of what you see.

Created in Unreal 5, we delivered almost an hour of content for UntilNow to augment with motion graphics and educational content.
